Will I get it?
If you were getting Guarantee Pension Credit on 10 July 2016 and your supplier is part of the scheme, you should get the discount automatically.
If you are on a low income or means tested benefit, you may qualify via the broader group but will still need to apply. Check with your electricity supplier to see if you are eligible and how to apply.
Applications for the broader group will be dealt with on a first-come first-served basis by your supplier until their funding is used up, so get your application in as soon as possible.
