Gritting Routes for Chiseldon Area
The blue route at the south of the parish is gritted by Wiltshire County Council.
In cold weather, it’s important you know where your local salt box is. If you find your box is empty or damaged, please report it online so we can get it fixed and refilled. If there is no box near you, it could be that your road is one of those that are treated by our team.
For more information about gritting, as well as information about salt boxes, please visit Gritting roads and pavements in freezing weather | Swindon Borough Council. The page also allows you to report damaged boxes and has tips on how to use effectively for thawing ice-covered roads and pavements..
Find out if your road is covered, where your nearest salt box is, or to report a damaged box.
