We are pleased to have installed our first speed indictor device (SID) on Hodson Road this week.
SID will remind drivers that the village is a 30mph zone throughout. We can gather data from SID on the number of vehicles speeding and use this to assist the police and SBC with further traffic calming measures.
We can also assist the usefulness of SID and budget for more devices in future years for the whole parish. Be aware that we may move SID from time to time to keep the whole village safe.
