Commemorative Tree Planting Marks 75th Anniversary of VJ Day.
15th August 2020 marked the 75th Anniversary of VJ Day. ‘Victory over Japan Day’ was the day on which Imperial Japan surrendered, effectively ending the Second World War. A commemorative tree planting took place to mark the event.
