This weeks construction on Junction 16 has seen the start of the Lydiard Fields work, with the road surface being broken out. Elsewhere on the junction, the area between Hay Lane and Wootton Bassett Road is starting to take shape as the kerbs are installed. Drainage works are ongoing on the eastbound and westbound slip roads, whilst the crash barrier is being installed on the south side of the roundabout.
In August, the Swindon & Wiltshire Local Economic Partnership, our economic partner, had a drone go up over the site to take aerial footage of the works.
