Friends of the Railway Path work day

Our next work day will be on Saturday 28th April 2018.  We will be working on the stretch of path south of Chiseldon, where there are a lot of bramble patches encroaching on the path.  We will remove scallop shaped areas of bramble to increase width, leave a verge that can be mown seasonally and create open areas where grassland can regenerate.

Meeting Place

  • Time – 10am
  • Location – The public car park in Chiseldon next to the Three Trees Farm Shop: see the map below
  • Parking – There is space for several vehicles

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and stout footwear, and bring:

  • Lunch and a drink.  (We will of course be near the Three Trees Café, which we can also use)
  • Gardening gloves if you have some
  • Any hand tools which you think you would like to use.  We will have a stock of tools for use on the day
