Highways England to begin resurfacing the A419
The major maintenance scheme will involve resurfacing both the southbound and northbound sections of the A419, with work due to start on Tuesday, 29 August.

Annual Safety Review – Thamesdown Drive lining
The work to reline the whole of Thamesdown Drive has been provisionally programmed for Monday 14 August and is expected to take no longer than two weeks (weather dependent). The work will be carried out overnight and through-traffic will be maintained at all times.
Loss of the Evening Bus, Thamesdown 70A and 72A
The Parish Council have been advised by Swindon Borough Council that unfortunately the evening bus service through Chiseldon Village will cease to run after 14th August.
