15th August 2020 marked the 75th Anniversary of VJ Day. ‘Victory over Japan Day’ was the day on which Imperial Japan surrendered, effectively ending the Second World War. A commemorative tree planting took place to mark the event.
This is not a Parish Council iniative, but we do support it.
