Borough Councillors’ Surgery

Please note that the next Borough Councillors’ Surgery will take place on the 2nd April, between 11.30am and 12.30pm in the Old Chapel, Butts Road. The Surgery is your chance to raise issues and concerns with representatives of both Swindon Borough Council and Chiseldon Parish Council.

Clerk’s office closed

Please note that the Clerk’s office will be closed on Good Friday, and also on the morning of Wednesday 30th March. Thank you.

Precept for 2016-17

Change of start time for March meeting

Please note that this month’s Full Council meeting on the 14th March will start one hour earlier than usual, at 6.30pm, in the Recreation Hall. This is to allow for a very busy schedule.

Community Governance Review

Swindon Borough Council is currently conducting a ‘Community Governance Review’. The Review will consider Parish boundaries and could impact Chiseldon Parish’s relationship with surrounding villages and settlements. You can find out more about the Review on SBC’s website and there are also a number of open discussion sessions over the coming weeks.

Christmas opening hours and new Parish Clerk

South Locality Public Meeting

Swindon Borough Council’s South Locality Team (which covers Chiseldon Parish) is holding a public meeting at the Civic Offices in Euclid Street, at 7pm on Monday 5 October. The agenda includes the opportunity for members of the public to ask questions, an update on local policing and an update on highways issues.
