The Parish Council have been reporting a high number of broken street lights in Castle View Road recently. SBC report back that these lights are being shot out by catapult or BB gun. (Something using a small metal ball)
This is worrying for 2 reasons – this could be a precursor to house break-ins by way of making the area darker, and also the repairs are coming out of your council tax. Please report anything suspicious to the police on 101 or let the SBC know, or the Parish Council office on clerk@chiseldon-pc.gov.uk
