Brighter Futures have the following exciting volunteering opportunities coming up:

Brighter Futures Awareness Stand
When: Saturday 16th November
Where: Oasis Leisure Centre
Time: 9:30am – 5:30pm

We are looking for volunteers to run an awareness stand promoting the work of Brighter Futures and to sell our Christmas Raffle Tickets. We will provide you with leaflets, posters and raffle tickets.

Brighter Futures Christmas Fair
When: Sunday 24th November 2019
Where: Grange Community Centre, Grange Drive, Swindon SN3 4JY
Time: 9am -4pm

We are looking for volunteers to help out on the Brighter Futures stalls and the car park. You can choose to stay all day or help for a few hours. In the past this has always been a fun event with Father Christmas and his elf, lots of stalls, choirs and a fantastic festive atmosphere.

Santa Vs Rudolph Run
When: Sunday 1st December 2019
Where: Lydiard Park, Swindon
Time: 8:30am – 12pm (depending on role)

We are looking for volunteers to register participants, marshal, or give out medals. Previously, when it was the Reindeer Run this has typically been a great family event with lots of runners and walkers dressed up and everyone having lots of fun.

Charity Abseil
When: Saturday 18th January 2020
Where: Great Western Hospital, Swindon
Time: 9:30am – 4:30pm

We are looking for volunteers to help register participants, make refreshments and marshal. You can choose to stay all day or help for a few hours. This event will be raising funds for Music Therapy on our Children’s Ward and it will be very exciting to watch the participants scale down the 90ft drop from the Great Western Hospital roof.
