Local Election in Swindon – 3rd May 2018
The local elections are taking place this Thursday meaning one last chance to spread the message that Swindon residents who vote at a polling station will need to bring a form of ID to vote in the local elections on 3rd May 2018.
Swindon residents can bring any one of the following options to prove their identity and be able to vote:
- Poll Card
- Passport (UK, EU, Commonwealth) (can be expired or unexpired)
- Photocard driving licence including a provisional licence (UK, Crown Dependency or EU)
- Northern Ireland Electoral Identity Card
- Biometric Immigration Document
- EEA Identity Card
This is our one last helping push to inform as many people as possible of the requirements to vote. For more information about the pilot, visit The Swindon Borough Council.
