The Parish Council wanted to thank everyone who took part in the Facebook poll we ran on potentially moving our holiday youth provision to The Deanery. There was no clear winner in the poll with votes for and against.
The committee met on Monday and after some discussion decided to hold the free October half term sessions at the Deanery as a trial to see what benefits there are. It is hoped the site will have more of interest for 11+ age children as the Deanery has more space for different activities.
We still want to retain a local Chiseldon presence so will then be able to discuss whether to change location according to the seasons. For “poor” weather we could utilitise the Deanery but use our hall and rec ground for better weather.
