Each year a team of volunteers organise a bicycle ride on the ridgeway, The white Horse Trail, Barbury Castle, Smeeth’s ridge, Hackpen and the old railway path as a fund raiser for Macmillan Cancer Support. The event normally takes place the first week in June. Back in March we could not be sure that the covid situation would have improved so we postponed the event and are now planning to hold it on Sunday 15th August from 0815 to about 1300. I enclose a map which shows the areas around your parish that we will be using. I would be grateful if you would let your residents know.
